Casa Boquera is a small family winery where our main goal is to promote quality before quantity. It is situated in the midst of our vineyards and ensures short distances from the vine to the production line. This is vital in order to create the best quality wines. The soil in our vineyard is lime bearing with thick subsoil containing high amounts of carbonate. A great area that results in wines with a distinct terroir character. Our main grape is Monastrell, the preferred variety of the district, but we also have syrah, petit verdot and garnacha tintorera. For whites we have chardonnay, sauvignon blanc and moscatel, but just a small amount. We produce mainly red wines. The winery was built in 2016 and our winemaker has been deeply involved in the whole prosess, ensuring quality in every step of the production, from vinyard to winemaking as well as maintaining optimal conditions for maturing and conservation of our wines. The harvesting is done by hand and the grapes are placed into small boxes to ensure maximun quality and prevent any premature oxidation. We do a small selection already in the fields and then a second selection in the winery using a selection table. We manually separate the grapes from leaves and branches. We also remove grapes that do not have an optimal ripening stage or is not perfectly healthy. One key issue to ensure quality: it takes only a few hours from the grape is harvested until it the must enters the stainless steel tanks. The entire fermentation process is done in stainless steel tanks and takes about 10 days. At the end the grapes are pressed through a pneumatic press, respecting the stucture of the grapes and therefore only pressing them, not crushing. The quality of the juice will determine if its destiny is to be a young wine or to be matured in oak barrels, either French or American. All our wines are ecological and preserves the personality of the area. They have deep ruby red colours that also are the characteristic of the monastrell grape. This variety dominates our production but we will in the future produce both rose and white wines. Our total production will reach 100 000 bottles a year.
Vineyards and wineries Asensio Carcelén, N.C.R., started its journey as a winery thanks to D. Asensio Carcelén Herrero in the late period of the nineteenth century, experimented a great industrial and economic boom due to his successor, D. Juan Carcelén Herrero, who started to introduce bottling in the wines he elaborated. After his retirement, his son D. Asensio Carcelén Cutillas took over control of the winery and focused his work on exportation, transforming the winery Asensio Carcelén into one of the best companies of the sector. The main activity of Asensio Carcelén winery has always been the production of Jumilla D.O. wines in all its forms, but mainly bottled ones, and its national and international commercialisation. Its annual production is estimated to be around 500.000 Kg of grapes within its 300Ha of own vineyards, dry land cultivated, traditional globet pruned, and integrated in organic agriculture. The main variety used is Monastrell with a 90% of production, followed by Syrah and Garnacha Tinta with a 5% of production each one. Since 2006, in order to improve its industrial activity, the winery was located next to its own vineyard, adapting to the times, to new technology and implanting new winemaking processes, quality controls and environmental adequacy. At the end of 2011 the winery obtained all the certification needed to start to produce organic wine. Our future is guaranteed by a family member, D. Juan Carcelén Gilar, Technical Agricultural Engineer and Graduated in Enology who works passionately in order to continue the tradition of winemaking, adapting it to the new times.
Bodega Madrid Romero
Bodega Madrid Romero es un proyecto familiar, situado en el paraje natural protegido del Valle de El Carche, en Jumilla (Murcia), donde se elaboran vinos de parcela en una extensión de 32 hectáreas, cultivando las variedades Monastrell, Syrah y Petit Verdot, entre otras. Bodega Madrid Romero apuesta por la excelencia en todas sus líneas de negocio. Por un lado, elaborando vinos de alta calidad, naturales, sin ningún aroma añadido. Por otro, ofreciendo experiencias enoturísticas alrededor del mundo del vino. Con la máxima “la calidad empieza en el viñedo”, en Bodega Madrid Romero trabajamos minuciosamente el viñedo. La interacción entre el suelo, la viña y el microclima del Parque Natural del Valle del Carche confiere a nuestros vinos unas características especiales. Asimismo, todo el laborioso trabajo que realizamos desde la base, se ve reflejado en los vinos que elaboramos. Cabe destacar que nuestros vinos ya han sido premiados en más de 12 ocasiones en diferentes concursos internacionales desde que empezamos a presentarlos en 2019. El proyecto de producción tiene 5 años pero la Bodega está abierta al público desde Marzo 2018, con lo que 2019 fue el primer año que presentamos nuestros vinos a diferentes competiciones de prestigio. Tradición e innovación se unen en esta Bodega Gastronómica para no dejar indiferente a nadie.

Bodegas Silvano García was founded in 1925. It is a familiar business, which along the years has been innovating in order to be always up to date according to the market demands, and since then it has always been in pursuit of quality. For the elaboration of our wines, we carry out an exhaustive control of quality from the vineyard until the bottling, by choosing the grapes that fulfil our quality criteria best. We follow the cycle of ripening, differencing from types of grapes, pieces of ground, work controls in the vineyards, and deciding the best moment for the grape harvest.

ES Mi nombre es Ramón Izquierdo y soy, junto con mi familia, el gerente de Ramón Izquierdo Vinos. Me gustaría presentarte nuestro proyecto brevemente: Somos una bodega ecológica perteneciente a la DOP Jumilla y que se dedica a la producción de vinos monvarietales de Monastrell desde 2016. Siempre buscamos la mayor calidad de nuestros vinos y es por eso que nuestras añadas son muy reducidas y limitadas de manera que podemos controlar todo el proceso y aunar a la perfección las técnicas tradicionales y de vanguardia en la producción de vino. Es nuestro propósito crear el producto de mayor calidad posible teniendo siempre en mente la conservación del entorno, el medio ambiente y la inclusión de todos en el mundo del vino. EN My name is Ramón Izquierdo and I'm manager of Ramón Izquierdo Vinos, alongside with my family, and I would like to set out our project and product to you. We are a family winery and ecological vineyard. We produce ecological 100% Monastrell red wine in DOP Jumilla, southeast of Spain, since 2016. Always looking for the best quality, our production methods are focused on gathering tradition and technology, so we control our production and make limited series of our wines in order to maintain the high standards we aim to have. It is our purpose to achieve the maximum quality in our wines having always in mind the respect to the environment, our tradition and to include every one of you into our world.
